Infrastructure for Environmental Interdisciplinary Research in Lower Danube Euroregion (INPOLDE)

  1. Interdisciplinary environmental research in complex investigations of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and interactions between their components;
  2. Analysis of heavy metals, trace elements and persistent organic pollutants at trace level in samples of different matrices (water, soil, sediments, molluscs, fish, plankton, aquatic algae, vegetation, etc.);
  3. Development of multiparametric analytical techniques, atomic, molecular and nuclear spectroscopy, photocolorimetry and microscopy for the analysis of multi-component samples;
  4. Techniques for the analysis of new materials used in environmental protection and ecotechnologies;
  5. Nuclear techniques for the analysis of natural and artificial radioactive isotopes;
  6. Dosimetry of nuclear radiation and assessment of population risk.
